I should have started with these profiles before I published the Military list, so you get a sense of what connections are possible if you have a lot of research and the accompanying records available for comparison with other people.
Many of the names, as will be true with all the lists I publish, may not be readily known to the reader, but all are notable in their fields of endeavor and may show up again in other lists I post. In this list, a quick perusal will include Lucille Ball, Louisa May Alcott, Anne Boleyn, Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock, “Gus” Grissom, Carrie Fisher, and Sally Ride, to name a few. More will come in the connections by marriage coming in the next post.
